Michael Glynn Kirksey of Grangerland Texas left this earth to be with his lord and savior on Saturday January 26, 2019. He was born on April 9, 1958 in Pasadena Texas to Glynn & Faye Kirksey and passed at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston. He was a veteran of the Marine Corp where he as enlisted for two years. He enjoyed life spending time with his family, being active with his church, and riding his motorcycle. Michael was a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

His mother, Faye Elizabeth Kirksey, preceded Michael in death. He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years Francine Annette Kirksey; father Elmer “Glynn” Kirksey; brother Malcolm Wayne Kirksey; children Michael Glynn Sens, Daniel Wade Kirksey, Rachel Renee Kirksey, Jayme Elizabeth Kelley, & Richard Dwayne Kirksey; grandchildren Genesis Dawn Marie Fritsche-Sens, Montana Muriel Sens, Robert Wayne Wylie, Andrew Michael Rittanhouse, Ryan James Rittanhouse, Klayton Thomas Kirksey, Emily Ann Marie Payton Wylie, Stormie Skye Mettey, Talon Hunter Kirksey-Kivi, Mackenzie Ann Marie Kirksey, Waylon Earl Wylie, Mackenna Nicole Kirksey, & Michael Wade Kirksey; great grandchildren Jayden Michael Calderon, Uriah Samson Calderon, & Everly Faye Simpson; nieces Jennifer Lyn Kirksey & Nikki Ann Kirksey; and nephew Cody Wayne Kirksey.
